Pink lady plant

Pink lady plant is a quite popular and beautiful indoor plant used for beautifying living places. The evergreen perennial Callisia repens ‘Pink Lady’ belongs to the Commelinaceae family. It is a popular houseplant to grow and is also known as Pink Lady, Turtle Vine, Roseling, or Creeping Inchplant.

It has small, variegated leaves that are tightly arranged on stems. Pink, white, or green leaves are possible. It can be used as a garden ornamental in mild climates, cultivated for borders, & also used in flower beds as well as in pots.

This plant flourishes in warm, indirect light and cannot tolerate freezing temperatures.

It is sometimes sold as Callisia rosato and sometimes Callisia repens ‘Rosato.’

Propagation Of CallIsia ‘Pink Lady’

Take root cuttings and place them in a tiny pot with moist potting soil in a bright, sunny location. Keep them between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius and they’ll root in 4 weeks.

It thrives best when given regular light watering. This hardy plant thrives in high temps and coastal conditions and can withstand the harshest growing conditions with minimal care. While it has an interesting round growth habit, if desired, you can prune to regulate spread and shape.
