“The whole world stands with Ukraine, just as I stand in Ukraine right now with my friend and my colleague Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba,” Blinken said. Kuleba
said he had discussed with Blinken. Arms to Ukraine and isolating Russia internationally and crippling the Russian economy through sanctions.
Ukraine will eventually win the war with Russia, but international supporters need more help to end the conflict as soon as possible, Kuleba said. He said Ukraine was in particular need of fighter jets and air defense systems, and said the Stinger air defense weapons provided by Western countries were helpful.
There was no progress in talks with Russia, Kuleba said, but “we must continue to negotiate.” The third round of talks between Russia and Ukraine is reportedly scheduled for Monday.
